All you need to know about Frigidity

The Britannica encyclopedia explains Frigidity as; a lady or woman's  inability to attain orgasm during sexual intercourse. The word has been used traditionally to describe a series of
behaviors  ranging from lack of interest in physical affection to general coldness of manner or aversion to sexual intercourse in general.

 Due to the derogatory connotations that have been associated with frigidity, it has now been replaced in the language of sex therapists by the term hypogyneismus, which means; the inability of a woman to obtain orgasm or sexual satisfaction under otherwise appropriate circumstances.

SYMPTOMS- symptoms include; absence of sexual desire, an inability to find pleasure during sexual intercourse or any other related sex activities.

CAUSES
It is generally of a psychic, not organic cause. There's fear, depression, guilt, a sense of inferiority complex or sometimes conflict with one's mate.

Some unfortunate experience and misinformation that was received earlier in life can also cause frigidity especially women that were raped earlier in their life.

In some cases, the woman may find sexual intercourse very painful due to insufficient lubrication, inadequate stimulation or underlying infection or disease.

 TREATMENT
• You must eat fresh eggs from the hen not those in stores that have been stored cold, virgin olive oil, alfalfa, pumpkin seeds and other healthful seeds, soy oil, avocados, nuts and wheat can also help treat this condition.


• You should avoid meat products.

• Deficiencies of vitamins can result in lowered estrogen levels and thus bring about poor lubrication during sex. Take in vitamin supplements or eat food that contains vitamins B complex and E.

• Some helpful herbs such as wild yam contain a natural steroid which may assist in treating this condition. Take it continuously for two weeks, stop for two weeks, and then back on again.

• Damiana also contains alkaloids which like the hormone testosterone, directly stimulate the nerves. put a drop under your tongue an hour or 2 before sexual intercourse. It may sometimes require several days of administration before the desired effect will be noticed.
 

• Extra lubrication may also aid reduce possible pain during intercourse.

 • Other helpful herbs include Siberian ginseng, saw palmetto, gotu kola, and sarsaparilla.
