This is due to a higher amount of bacteria on the skin, which is often as a result of poor hygiene but can also occur as a result of metabolic disorders, or through the ingestion of certain drugs or toxins.

A genetic predisposition to these higher bacteria concentrations is also a leading cause of Bromhidrosis. If you suspect that you this body odor, you should try using anti-perspirants instead of deodorants since an anti-perspirant can assist prevent perspiration. There are also some simple natural remedies that you can employ to aid control body odor and make it less noticeable for yourself and those around you.

  Remedy with Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) can prevent armpit  odor when used in place of deodorant because it reduces the pH of the skin. Bacteria can't live in areas with low PH. Using ACV as a natural body deodorant prevents the bacteria which causes that offensive body odor.

Here are 2 related natural home remedies for body odor:
  • Armpit Odor: wipe them once a day with undiluted apple cider vinegar.

  • Foot Odor: soak your feet in a pan of warm water mixed with 75 ml of apple cider vinegar for 15 minutes. Repeat this 2 or 3 times per week.

Body Odor Home Remedy with White Vinegar

Another useful tool in eliminating bad odor is White vinegar. Another alternative is to also soak the cotton ball in it and apply to your armpits instead of using deodorant. The smell of the smell vinegar will be gone within minutes and you will be odor-free all day.

You can also apply baking soda to clean arm pits and feet to minimize body odor. You can also use baking soda for it's "odor-eating" strength. simply  apply the powder to your dry armpits. It will kill bacteria and assist absorb perspiration.

Body Odor Treatment with Sage Tea

Sage, naturally has antiperspirant properties embedded in it.  For this reason, sage tea has an excellent potential as a remedy for decreasing  body odor. Sage assists to reduce the output of sweating excessively due to over active sweat glands. Put 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of dried sage into a cup of hot water. Allow it for  about 10 minutes.  Then drink this in small doses throughout the day, about a teaspoon each time. 

Alternatively, apply the cooled Sage tea directly to the affected areas of the skin that causes body odor, such as the armpits. Using a cloth or sponge, dip it in the cooled tea and gently apply liberally to the affected skin. Let it stay on the skin surface until it dries, then re-apply. When it dries the second time, simply rinse the affected area with water.

Using Turnip Juice as a Body Odor Remedy

Using turnip juice is another very effective way to reduce armpit/underarm odor for as long as 10 hours. You can also grate turnip and gently squeeze the juice through cheese cloth so that you have two teaspoonfuls. All that you need to do is to wash your armpit and gently rub one teaspoonful of the extracted juice under each one.
